I hate pants, and what I hate even more is the cold. It's tough to find a dress that keeps you warm, doesn't itch, flatters your shape, and is comfortable. This little number is all that with a cherry on top. It was a Christmas gift from my darling friend Ricky who owns Spooky Boutique. You can check out his unbelievable collection at the Artists and Fleas vintage market. I styled it with a skinny snakeskin belt, Steve Madden motorcycle boots, a vintage locket from Murano, Italy and a pretty gold ring.

Little Black Dresses
It's that time again- office parties, cocktails with friends, fancy dinners, and countless other places to go and people to see. There are presents to buy, things to decorate, cards to mail, and too many yummy things to eat. I don't know about you, but I feel like a hot mess this time of year; however being armed with the right things to wear simplifies quite a bit. So I repeatedly rely on the little black dress; always slimming, always appropriate this time of year, and so many different ways you can accessorize. Here's a peek at some of what The Greedy Seagull will be offering up in the weeks to come, drop me a line via Twitter @greedy_seagull or Etsy Convo me for more details.

We've only just begun..
The holidays are just around the corner- don't you fee like they snuck up on you this year? I do! Maybe it's the fact that I've had such a busy year. Between getting hitched, running all over the eastern seaboard grabbing vintage, weekends at Artists and Fleas, planning a wedding, moving into a new studio... I find myself suddenly staring face to face with the fact that it's time for all things glitter, glam and sparkly. Here is the beginning of the mountain of wonderful cocktail gear waiting entering the shop, enjoy!

A Fall Affair
It is indeed rare when two wandering souls that are as loving, generous, and loyal as one another meet, mingle, and marry. Two of the most wonderful individuals I know married in Norwalk, Connecticut this weekend and I was lucky enough to attend their wedding and help with the decorations. It is an understatement to say that the wedding was just as beautiful as their love for one another, and their respective open and giving hearts. Every little detail was perfect, from the jack-o-lanterns to the pumpkin bisque soup served in tiny little gourds. The band was spot on, the leaves were at their peak and my dear friends looked the most overjoyed I have ever seen them.
Cheers to Ellen and Chris, and to an unbelievable start to a long and happy life together!
